Rules and consent
Short version of how 15minutesfamous.com stays fun and safe.
Pages go live right away
When someone is nominated, their page goes live immediately and their free 15 minutes start. We do this so the good news can spread fast.
Take it down any time
Anyone featured can have their page removed at any time, no questions asked. Use the removal link they were sent, or the report button on the page, and we'll remove it.
Adults only
Everyone featured must be 18 or older. Profiles of minors are removed.
Your photo, your story
Only upload photos and words you have the right to share. Do not nominate someone to mock, harass or expose them.
Free first, always
Every new nominee gets 15 free minutes, and you can nominate as many people as you like. You can also cheer as many different profiles as you want for free, once per profile each day.
Money buys time, not rank
Rank is the number of unique supporters, counted once per person. Credits add time (15 minutes each, capped at 24 hours on the clock). They never buy a higher position.
Credits
Credits are non-refundable, have no cash value and can't be transferred.
No bots, no fake accounts
We limit nominations and cheers per account and review suspicious activity. Cheating accounts are removed.
Draft rules for the prototype. Terms and privacy policy to be reviewed by counsel before public launch.
